Is the Convention Centre wheelchair accessibile?
We provide visitors with a fully accessible environment to ensure ease and enjoyment of all activities in and around the Convention Centre.
If needed, complimentary transport chairs are available on a first-come first-served basis at our security desk, located on the second floor of the North Building.
- Automatic motion-activated sliding entrance door on York Avenue. All other entrances are equipped with activation switches and push buttons.
- Passenger elevators equipped with raised panel and Braille keys.
- Elevators located in all corners of the North building.
- Conveniently located central bank of elevators in South building.
- All washrooms are equipped with wheelchair accessible stalls and sinks.
- Designated disabled parking stalls in both north and south parkades.
- Wheelchair access ramp and designated seating area in 2nd floor Presentation Theatre (North building).
Where is the security desk located?
There is 24-hour security in our building located in the North Building on the 2nd floor, across from the Centre Place Café and adjacent to the general office.
Is Wi-Fi available on site?
Yes there is and it’s FREE!, the service is open to everyone through a simple splash page to enjoy the service.

Is there a lost and found?
Yes! – our 24/7 Security department manages any lost & found items. Their team can be reached directly at 204-957-4523.
