Do I need to wear a mask or show proof of vaccination while attending events at the RBC Convention Centre?
Manitoba Public Health orders mandating mask usage and other restrictions has expired as of Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
You are not required to wear a mask or provide proof of vaccination when coming to the RBC Convention Centre.
However, if you feel more comfortable, you are encouraged to wear a mask when on site as this remains a recommendation of Manitoba Public Health. Our staff, vendors and service providers will continue to wear masks for the foreseeable future.
There are some events that may require either or both a mask and proof of vaccination for entry. This is at their discretion and will be communicated by the party holding the event. Event attendees are encouraged to follow up with event organizers directly.

We provide visitors with a fully accessible environment to ensure ease and enjoyment of all activities in and around the Convention Centre. If needed, complimentary transport chairs are available on a first-come first-served basis at our security desk on the second floor of the North Building.
There is 24-hour security in our building located in the North Building on the 2nd floor, across from the Centre Place Café and adjacent to the general office.
Yes there is and it’s FREE! Thanks to TELUS’ free and friendly Wi-Fi, the service is open to everyone – not just TELUS customers. TELUS smartphones will automatically establish a secure connection to the #TELUSdirect network when they are in range. Non-TELUS customers can connect to #TELUS through a simple splash page to enjoy the same service.
