Yes. To limit any potential health risks, all attendees, staff and anyone affiliated with an event, are required to wear masks. Masks are not required for children under the age of 5.
Yes, masks must remain on even while seated but can be removed temporarily when eating or drinking.
For sure! Please remember though, masks must still be worn while on the dance floor.
Yes it is. All people within an event space, whether a guest, 3rd party provider, vendor, staff or otherwise, must be fully vaccinated (two doses of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccine plus two weeks). Children who do not meet the current vaccination minimum age requirements are welcome but must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated caregiver.
We will be asking to see your Manitoba Immunization Card (physical or digital) along with photo ID to verify your identity.
No. A negative test result will not be accepted as an alternative to the immunization requirements we require.

If I’m just passing through your building and headed to the skywalk, do I need to show proof of vaccination?
No. Feel free to walk through but we ask you remember to practice the fundamentals – wear a mask at all times and keep your distance from others along the way.
We suggest reaching out to your event organizer. We’re working with each client to create solutions specific to their events.
We provide visitors with a fully accessible environment to ensure ease and enjoyment of all activities in and around the Convention Centre. If needed, complimentary transport chairs are available on a first-come first-served basis at our security desk on the second floor of the North Building.
There is 24-hour security in our building located in the North Building on the 2nd floor, across from the Centre Place Café and adjacent to the general office.
Yes there is and it’s FREE! Thanks to TELUS’ free and friendly Wi-Fi, the service is open to everyone – not just TELUS customers. TELUS smartphones will automatically establish a secure connection to the #TELUSdirect network when they are in range. Non-TELUS customers can connect to #TELUS through a simple splash page to enjoy the same service.
