If you have arranged for music at your event, provided by any exhibitors, the Centre will assess the SOCAN licensing fees payable by you, in accordance with the applicable tariff. For further information on these services, contact your Event Coordinator.
Concourse Areas
As a multi-purpose facility, the Winnipeg Convention Centre frequently has simultaneous activities scheduled in various portions of the facility. Consequently, in order to best serve our customers, it is important that careful coordination is taken for the use of concourse and public service areas.
Registration
Just as exhibit floor plans must be developed in advance and approved by all parties concerned, we strongly recommend proposed registration layouts be developed in advance and submitted to the Centre for approval. Concourse area floor plans are available for this purpose, plus all major service contractors have concourse specifications on file.
Signs & Banners
Large prefabricated show entrance way signs, banners and exterior signs also require advance coordination. These items should be approved by the Centre in the early planning stages. Contact your Event Coordinator.
