Main Exhibit Area Rates


  • INGRESS AND EGRESS TIME is based on 35% of basic room rental charge for shows which exceed two days. For shows which are two days or less, ingress and egress time is based on 50% of the basic room rental. Maximum 3 days ingress allowed.

  • Definition of net square feet: "Net square feet" shall consist of actual display area less normal aisles and corridors which shall not be less than 10 feet (3 meters) in width.

  • Main exhibit areas DO NOT INCLUDE loading dock areas or concourses.

  • For additional information on facilities, additional charges, and equipment available, please contact your Event Coordinator.
Note:
  1. Two (2) third floor rooms supplied N/C with Halls A and B; One (1) room supplied N/C with Hall A or B (not including Meeting Room 25 - Lounge).
  2. AUDIO SERVICES - Included with hall rental 1 to 10 mircophones in exhibit area using existing audio outlets. If headset audio equipment can be utilized from existing six (6) locations, no additional charge will be applicable. (For any special audio requirements, see Form 4A-1-00.)
  3. Other charges for theatrical events may apply which are not included in the above rates.
  4. Pursuant to a licence agreement between the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN), the Centre is obligated to collect SOCAN licence fees, in accordance with applicable tariffs, from all licensees and users of the facility in respect of the performance of musical works on the premises which are arranged for or authorized by the Licensee. If you have arranged for music at your event, the Centre will assess the SOCAN licensing fees payable by you, in accordance with the applicable tariffs.
Supplying of services by outside contractors within the Winnipeg Convention Centre may result in a fee charged to the supplier or client.

All rates subject to change without notice. Additional labour charge will apply on statutory holidays, civic holidays, and weekends. Refer to contract for conditions and restrictions.
I.A.T.S.E.
    For any events requiring specialized lighting, sound and other theatrical equipment for events, performances, etc., this work must be contracted/completed by employees of Local 63 of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Machine Operatiors of the United States and Canada (I.A.T.S.E.). This requirement is for the third floor exhibition hall and does not include other event set-up items such as: setting stages, seating, matinenance of equipment, food and beverage set-up, etc., as these are provided by the Centre. SOCAN
    Pursuant to a license agreement between the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN), the Centre is obligated to collect SOCAN license fees, in accordance with applicable tariffs, from all licensees and users of the facility in respect of the performance of musical works on the premises which are arranged for or authorized by the Licensee. If you have arranged for music at your event, provided by any exhibitors, the Centre will assess the SOCAN licensing fees payable by you, in accordance with the applicable tariff.
