Our employees strive to make every function a "Successful Event"! From the initial contact with our Sales Managers, who confirm space availability and initiate the function contract, our Event Coordinators, who will confirm and refine every detail, to our line employees, our TEAM works to exceed Client expectations.

Each year, the Centre accommodates a variety of events from international, national and regional conventions, business meetings from 6 to 5,000 participants, consumer and industry trade shows, entertainment events, weddings, gala receptions and dinners, membership luncheons, sports events to an indoor bull riding rodeo. Our Event Coordinators work hand in hand to ensure all the bases are covered, which provides ease of mind for a first-class event.

Sales Team
    Our Sales Managers will work with you to check space availability, assist in determining your needs for a successful event and the completion/issuance of the event contract. Our facility is very versatile and our Sales Managers are very adept in ensuring the best use of space. The Sales Team is assigned by market segment identified in our Contact Us section (Toll free 1-800-565-7776).
Event Coordinator
    The Centre assigns an Event Coordinator to each event upon receipt of the signed event contract. Your Event Coordinator is responsible for every detail of your event and the internal coordination with all departments to ensure the events success. Early completion of the event details will contribute to your ease of mind. All banquet/meal events must have the final menu selection completed four weeks and final attendee guarantee five (5) business days prior to the date of the event.

    MeetingMatrix Certified Room Diagrams
    The Winnipeg Convention Centre offers verified floor plans via MeetingMatrix certified room diagrams. Meeting Planners with MeetingMatrix software can access, download and complete various function room set-up diagrams. Special Services - Communications / Use of Contracted Service Providers
    Telephone/Data: The Winnipeg Convention Centre is the sole supplier of telephone, Internet & data services.

    Specialized services such as; Centrex/data lines and connections to your Intranet provider, can be provided by your contracted service provider. In cases where these services are contracted to an outside service supplier, the contracted company is responsible for full services and equipment and must complete the work within the approved standards of the Winnipeg Convention Centre.

    The Winnipeg Convention Centre does not provide additional technical support services and/or equipment where outside companies have been contracted for these specialized services.

    Should Convention Centre technicians be requested to support contracted providers, fees will be charged to the clients master account in accordance with the Convention Centre's published rates and arrangements must be made in advance.

    Facility fee: The Centre charges a facility fee of $75.00 per line for Centrex/data lines that are installed by your contracted service provider. This fee allows outside service providers access to the Centre only, it does not include allowance for support service by Centre technicians.
Catering Menus
    The Centre is the exclusive supplier of all food & beverage services within the Centre. Our Catering Menus provide a wide variety and selections. Full policy details are provided under our Catering Policies. Events where exhibitors wish to provide food sampling require advance approval from the Director of Food & Beverage Services via the submission of the Food Sampling Approval Form.
