User Fees to Audio Visual Companies for Use of Winnipeg Convention Centre Owned Equipment & Electrical Power

Effective APRIL 1, 2002, all audio visual companies who do business in the Centre, and provide A/V services to clients and other users of the facilities of the Winnipeg Convention Centre will be responsible to pay charges, in respect of use of the Centre's facility, electrical equipment, and electrical power, a fee, based on a charge, per room, per day.

These fees are applicable to rooms where power is utilized from the rooms' power receptacles. The fees are based upon the size of rooms (determined by square footage) or combination of rooms and are accessed on a per day per room basis.

• Small = 1 - 1,999 square feet
• Medium = 2,000 - 7,999 square feet
• Large = 8,000 plus (+) square feet.

Standard rates of $20.00, $40.00 and $60.00 per room, per day for small, medium, and large rooms are discounted to $14.00, $28.00, and $42.00 respectively for all days after the first three (3) days use of room.

No fees are applicable to ingress (move-in) or egress (move-out) days.

Any combination of rooms in to one room, whereby the area (sq. ft.) of the combined rooms exceed 2,000 sq. ft., or 8,000 sq. ft., shall be assess based on medium rooms and large rooms as follows:

• Combinations of rooms exceeding 2,000 sq. ft. (Medium) - $40.00 per combined room per day
• Combinations or rooms exceeding 8,000 sq. ft. (Large) - $60.00 per combined room per day

Note: If power/power panels are installed within the meeting room, the User Audio Visual fee will not apply to this function room as power will be invoiced in accordance with the Centre's Electrical rates.

Audio Visual Suppliers are required to provide advance payment of user fees, such fees to be assessed by the Centre, before being granted access to provide services in the facilities of the Winnipeg Convention Centre.
